The CISH Board has announced that it has been following the evolving situation in the Middle East with particular attention and concern since October 7, 2023. In light of the continuing escalation, the Board, in consultation with the Historical Society of Israel, has decided to postpone the CISH Congress until 2028 and to organize a congress dedicated to the CISH centennial in 2026.
At the General Assembly in Tokyo on Oct. 27, 2024, it will be discussed how this congress will be filled out.
