The Global Collaboratory on the History of Labour Relations’s goal is to chart global developments in labour relations since 1500. The Collaboratory has developed an extensive taxonomy with which all labour relations, from work for the household to slave labour, can be classified. Based on this taxonomy, the Collaboratory strives to collect data about labour relations for as many countries as possible in the reference years 1500, 1650, 1800, 1900 and 2000.
