The Global Collaboratory on the History of Labour Relations’s goal is to chart global developments in labour relations since 1500. The Collaboratory has developed an extensive taxonomy with which all labour relations, from work for the household to slave labour, can be classified. Based on this taxonomy, the Collaboratory strives to collect data about labour relations for as many countries as possible in the reference years 1500, 1650, 1800, 1900 and 2000. For more information, see https://datasets.iisg.amsterdam/dataverse/labourrelations.

Diversity & Inclusion
The KNAW considers a working environment in which everyone feels welcome and appreciated of great importance. A working environment in which attention is paid to individual quality and where development opportunities are paramount. Together we strive for an inclusive culture in which we embrace differences. We would therefore like to invite candidates who want to contribute to this through their background and experience. In the event of equal suitability, preference will be given to the candidate who thus enhances diversity within the Academy.
