The AEGIS-OA project is seeking community feedback on the adaptation of the Diamond Open Access Standard (DOAS) for OA books.
Originally developed for Diamond OA journals, DOAS provides a framework for quality assurance and self-assessment. The project is now working to ensure the standard reflects the specific needs and realities of OA book publishing. If you are involved with Diamond OA books as a university, library, research institute, community-based publisher, publishing platform, or similar stakeholder, your input is valuable. The anonymous survey can take up to 80 minutes, depending on the sections you choose to complete. The deadline is 18 October 2026 at 23:59 CEST.
You can complete the survey here.
