Deutscher Historikertag 2021: Dutch contributions

From 5 to 8 October, the German counterpart of KNHG, the Verband der Historiker und Historikerinnen Deutschlands (VHD), is organizing the Deutscher Historikertag 2021. This edition will be centered around the theme Deutungskämpfe (conflicts of interpretation) and will be held completely digital from Munich. Also, the program of the Historikertag will include several Dutch contributions.

Tuesday 5 October from 9:15 to 11h am (UTC+2) Simon Willmetts and Constant Hijzen (Leiden University) will be on the panel Dynamics of Distrust. Secret Intelligence and the Public Sphere in the Western World since 1945. Wednesday 6 October at the same time Simone Schleper (Maastricht University) will be one of the participants in the panel Conflicting Interpretations of the Environment. International Expertise since the 19th Century (in German).
