AHA newsmagazine discusses Juneteenth as a federal holiday

On 17 June, American President Joe Biden signed the Juneteenth National Independence Day Act, which made 19 June a federal holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States. The American Historical Association (AHA) has discussed this decision in its newsmagazine, Perspectives on History.
